Description
This handmade mug is part of my Sheet Music Series, featuring the first phrase of the Prelude from Bach’s Cello Suite No. 1, written in bass clef. It’s a great piece for music lovers or anyone who enjoys a bit of classical inspiration with their coffee or tea.
The inside is glazed with Amaco Light Sepia for a soft, warm tone. The outside has a clear glaze to show off the music design.
*The clear glaze went on a bit too thick in places, which caused some uneven drips and a bit of surface cracking (craquelure). It’s still totally functional, just not quite up to my usual finish, so I’ve discounted the price to reflect that.
